Amber Chrisman

Client Relationship Manager

I have a background in insurance and experience in management. I joined the firm in 2019, and have been handling everything on the insurance and annuity side of the practice for Paul Scioli's clients. Everything means responding to clients' questions, scheduling annual reviews, preparing presentations, and anything in between.

What do you love best about your work?
I love working with clients. Being able to take care of their needs, to play a role in preparing them for their financial future, and doing our part in lessening their concern, even if it's just one bit, is fulfilling to me. On a personal note, I have a huge passion for long-term care; I enjoy working with clients as they think ahead to their transition to retirement and beyond.

What are the biggest challenges you face at work?
It's challenging to get younger clients to understand that insurance planning makes sense when you are young. Older generations see the need because they have been through life and understand its ups and down, but for younger people, it's harder to grasp.

What does it take to be really good at what you do?
Organization.

What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?
We genuinely love and care for our clients. We try to get back to everyone within the day, and/or address their needs in a way that makes them feel heard. Many of our clients have been with Paul from the beginning of his career. He is really is vested in his clients' wellbeing, and I think they know it.

What are you passionate about outside of work?
I'm a full-time mommy, which translates to spending a lot of time being active outdoors. We have three children, with whom we like to spend time running, hiking, and going to the lake.

What is a little-known fact about you?
I do woodwork I make the tall welcome signs that you sometimes see outside people's front doors. I customize them to say whatever people want them to say, but my tagline is "Show Grace." No matter what a welcome sign says, somewhere on it will be "Show Grace," because if we all could show more grace, what a difference that would make in this world.
