Justin Dockrey

Executive Director, Insurance and Investments.

Justin Dockrey joined our team after a 20-year career as a solo financial advisor. He works closely with Mickey Ray, focused on assisting organizations with their retirement planning needs, including 401(k)s and 403(b)s. He also guides individuals, families and small business owners with a wide range of financial services strategies and solutions.

Hoping to become a rancher, Justin earned his degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M in 1997. While he never realized that childhood dream, Justin chose to answer the call of independence through entrepreneurship. He started a financial services practice in Midland to be close to family, and built his business with patience and care. Many of his early clients were his former high school teachers who remembered him and put their trust and confidence in him.

Justin, who is both life insurance and investments licensed, appreciates being able to educate people to make suitable financial decisions to protect their futures. “I like to know that I’m giving people advice that they may not have received, had it not been for our work together,” he says.

I appreciate using creative problem solving to help address topics that clients may not have been able to move forward on — up to now.

What guides Justin is his faith. “It took a lot of prayer to make it through the peaks and valleys of owning a business,” he says. He considers his persistence to have been well worth it, and is now grateful to be a part of a much larger team that allows him to have a bigger impact on the communities that matter so much to him.

Justin and his wife, Shane, have two daughters. Outside of work, Justin is a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Midland, where he and his family are involved in the church’s various programs. He counts Texas A&M football as his number one hobby, and passionately roots for the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
