Nanette Green

I have been supporting Brian Pitaniello since 1994. I handle client service, investment service work, scheduling, new business, and handle all client questions.

I knew Brian and his wife, Tammy, through church. He asked me to come help him when he first started out in the business, and I’ve been working with him ever since.

What do you love best about your work?
I love that each day is different. I enjoy the interaction I have with our clients, my co-workers and the other partners, while solving problems along the way. It’s a nice mix.

What I love about PFG Advisors as a firm is that we don’t just say “we put family first,” – we really do put family first here. This is a highly personable, caring, and family-oriented group of people, and it’s a true pleasure to be able to work here every single day.

What are the biggest challenges you face at work?
Coordinating schedules.

What does it take to be really good at what you do?
My job responsibilities require flexibility. My day almost never entails activities that I thought I’d be doing. I have to be quick to re-direct my focus if necessary.

What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?
I love when a day “clicks” the way I scheduled it to be, which means:  getting Brian where he’s supposed to be, and the client being where they’re supposed to be all at the same time!  I can see it “working” in my head when I put it on the calendar; but to have it actually happen that way is a successful day.

What are you passionate about outside of work?
My church family and friends are a huge part of everyday life.  I have a BS in Interior Design from Texas Tech University. My hobbies are exercise, home building and design. And of course, I am most passionate about my family.

What is a little-known fact about you?
I have never eaten alone in a restaurant.
