Breanna Jones

In 2021, I joined PFG Advisors to support Debbie Holt. My primary responsibility is compliance, accounting support, and any other administrative work that’s needed.  

What do you love best about your work?
I love that I get to use the multitude of skills I learned in my business classes; Furthermore, that I get to acquire new skills, lifelong experience, and work with great people!

What are the biggest challenges you face at work?
We use numerous software programs and platforms to keep track of client information, compliance, and accounting. It took some time to learn everything, and I am still learning new ways to use the software every day.

What does it take to be really good at what you do?
Most of my work requires tracking large volumes of information – whether it’s related to life insurance or compliance, it’s very detail-oriented. I have found that being well organized, detail-oriented and being skilled with programs such as Excel helps with keeping track of information that we work with.

What are you most proud of at your work at PFG?
Working with life insurance is not something you really hear for someone my age; I am proud that I am able to succeed with this type of work and keep up with all the information and details I am tasked to organize and keep track of!

What are you passionate about outside of work?
Outside of work, I am very involved with my university, taking part in lots of things I am passionate about like intramural sand volleyball, student ministry, and events within the Kinesiology program! I also am an avid reader.

What is a little-known fact about you?
I have worked hard and graduated high school early, now I am set to graduate college early too. I will graduate at 20 years old with a bachelor’s degree in science from Texas Tech University!
